I'll use the "Destinations: Curse of Osiris and the Warmind" badge while logged in as a warlock as an example. When looking at the badge, the weapons, ghost shell, and some armor (BrayTech Researcher and Yuga Sundown) list their price but the "reacquire" button is missing. I tested and was able to reacquire this gear from the Weapons and Armor pages in Collections. (Verified button actually works by acquiring: [weapon > assault rifle page] BrayTech Winter Wolf, [armor > world page] BrayTech Researcher's Boots, [armor > world page] Yuga Sundown Bond) EXPECTATION: As a user, I expect that the option to reacquire gear is the same in both parts of the collections tab. If the gear can't be re-acquired from the badge, then it probably shouldn't show the price, though I acknowledge that this info being there does give a hint that it can be re-acquired elsewhere in collections. INFO, likely not bug: The Kairos Function set (re-issued this season) does not show a price and cannot be reacquired from the badge or the Armor screen [world page]. This is a little weird though since neither set has special characteristics (just plain armor 2.0 with a combat style slot) and the two sets have low stats when acquired this way. INFO, hopefully not a bug: The Yuga Sundown set (and corresponding sets for titan and hunter) says (in gear details, left trigger on controller) it is acquirable from Xur. We haven't seen Xur yet this season, but historically he hasn't sold legendary gear. As far as I know, this gear is currently not acquirable in game, but historically dropped from Escalation Protocol on Mars. The source change happened yesterday (light.gg/db/compare/293099). If Xur is selling this, I'll be happy :) P.S. Thanks for fixing the Red War badge!
