Is bad luck protection broken on EoT? Reports of 80+ clears without dropping
If it takes more than ~50, players with a single character won't be able to complete Descendant.
That being the case, it should be rare to find people > 50 clears without it.
...but many folks in my clan are +50 without it.

Protection was broken when it came out. It was being accumulated once per week per character. According to a patch on March 23, it is now accumlated once per week per account. So with the 2% chance increase, you should have a guaranteed drop by your 50th time; that is to say, you should have the drop by the 50th week you have done it. However, it has only been 30 weeks since the raid opened, much less since the drop portection was added. I still do not have eyes despite my efforts in this raid. However, it is impossible to see that the protection rate is still broken until a full 50 weeks of consective clears has passed. Which is dumb af but thats destiny for ya.
