I was looking at all the objectives for the season so far and honestly there is so much of it that is just kind of pointless. And the rewards for completing the objectives at the end of each season? Bright dust. I really can’t see the point. I finished last season’s objectives to see whether it was worth the effort, but this season? I somehow managed to get the sidearm kills in Override and then thought to myself, really? That’s an objective? The same for 50 guardian kills in Mayhem (a mode that’s fun for about 30 seconds). There are other more pointless and needlessly annoying objectives and I just thought, it would make more sense if they were linked objectives to something meaningful in terms of lore or story progression. Instead, it’s a funnel into Eververse. Got to keep us on that wheel. I play this game anyway, but it just feels so forced.
