Well, the thing is that the kills with the explosions of "Ticuu's Divination" doesn't count for the catalyst, and doesn't count for the "kills counter" of that weapon. The same thing with the pulse rifle "No Time To Explain" when the mini-portal kills someone. And with the "Chromatic fire" too. When you kill someone with a headshot, the explosion that the gear generates kill some enemies, the kills doesn't count for any weapon. IDK if this is on purpose, but I wanted to report this anyway.
