Dying with Europa's scanner augment locks you out of the DSC repository for the week?
I decided to do a DSC repository tonight. As I was looking for the final set of drones in Eternity, I fell to my death, and when I respawned, my scanner buff with [i]one charge left[/i] disappeared. My BrayTech transponder also disappeared, meaning I can't pick up another scanner until the next weekly reset. Is this user error, or do I just have to be extremely careful when holding a scanner so it doesn't take longer to get the splintered title?

1 RispondiI had this issue, and I think I found a workaround. I had gone back like you to try and get it again, and the guy never spawned and no one came to make him either. What I did was switch characters to see if by some miracle I could buy it on them (doesn't work) and logged back in on my character I was doing it with and went back to try and get it one last time, and it worked! It even kept my progress, I had done one of them already. I think the key is to log off or switch characters then trying to get scanner again.

Same thing just happened to me. Wish this had been fixed. I'm locked out of the title for another 3 weeks.

Not only this, but you can't take the scanner to other zones. So if you miss any, you have to wait till the rotation brings the EZ back to that area!!! WTF... If I knew to be careful about not dying, because it would cost me 4 weeks, I wouldn't have died...

Same. Just another Bungo fail/bug. Losing the Scanner/Transponder after dying is hopefully just a bug and not intended...

That's definitely a bug! The exact same thing happend to me yesterday in the Nexus but I still had the transponder, so I was able to go back to the Asterion Abyss and get the scanner augment back with the one charge remaining.

4 RisposteDid you try to kill the scanner buff marauder again? Usually when you haven't used all your charges you can still pick up the scanner buff with the remaining charges.
