Destiny 2 exe was quarantined by AVG
Destiny 2's exe was quarantined mid glory match by AVG. This has never happened to me before. It detected a threat called IDP.SEMS.Bifrost2. Is Bifrost2 something part of the exe?

exactly just happened to me in the cutscene finale of season of the deep. I'm trying to fix the game its not working. I'm on epic BTW. anything?

Same happened with me. 4 times. Hello Bungie!! What has happened?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! Threat called IDP.SEMS.Bifrost2

AVG quarantined again last night with the same issue.

Just happened to me too, this time with Avast (owner of AVG), I was simply in the character selection menu.

Same issue. I was just in the Tower. Avast detected it. Game auto closed and the avast warning alarm went off. After looking through my virus chest I realized that the same issue has happened before (months ago) but the file was flagged "IDP.Generic" instead of "IDP.SEMS.BIFROST2". Avast was also telling me I needed to restart, possibly to update? Not sure if directly related to the event. Steam automatically redownloaded the Destiny EXE on restart. I ran the file through Virus Total with no detections. Ran the whole Destiny 2 folder through Avast again and no detections. Running the game and waiting to see if it happens again. If it does, I will be concerned that the integrity of Destiny has somehow been breached... would feel safer with clarification from Bungie either way.

Same thing happened to me. I dont know what it was, but Im gonna try and reinstall the whole game. see what happens.

Destiny hacked ? wouldn't even be surprised at this point. EDIT : with a little more search Avast (which I use) has been known to return false positives on Steam overall (but none of it's component games individually) - so maybe that ? IDK EDITED EDITATION : was able to reDL D2.exe and reconnect after rebooting, will post again if it happens again
