It’s the spooky day today, and the spooky spirit has been pretty dry this year, due to it being... this year. So, in an attempt to capture a shred of that spirit, I’m going to talk about fear, the very emotion Halloween is based upon. What is your favorite phobia/fear that you’ve heard of? It doesn’t matter if you have it or not, nor does it matter if it’s completely rational or irrational. It could be something that a friend of yours has or it could just be something you’ve heard about online. As for me, my favorite for the time being is Anthropophobia, the fear of people or society. Not because I can slightly relate to it, but because I find it intriguing to be afraid of individuals you know nothing about that constantly wander outside of your house. It also feels like this fear could be more relevant nowadays, given how these catastrophes have brought out the worst in many people in our lives. So, what’s your favorite fear?
