With the DCV, a lot of the objective pvp modes are being removed, even if some of them were just variants of slayer. Control is going to be the only objective based mode remaining from what we can see, and even then it isn’t that objective based, as opposed to D1 zone control. There needs to be slayer based modes in Crucible (clash, control, supremacy, elimination based modes) but also modes that are more objective focused and kills aren’t points. Such as supremacy but you need to pick up crests for points, D1 zone control where you get points based on how long you hold zones (kinda like lockdown but 6v6 and not round based). Modes like Salvage or Rift with some tuning could be fun. Or even just Capture the flag. Please, Bungie, give us some objective modes. They’re fun.
