None of this new DLC will come close to what we have now content wise, it is literally another reset and variety will go out the window. I’m seeing a whole lot of denial on this subject on how hollow this game is about to be, and the main defenses I keep seeing repeated include -This doesn’t effect me, it’s old content and I don’t care about new players who haven’t done these things -I don’t like (blank) weapon or (blank) meta so this is what has to be done, because their is literally no other way to balance anything -I’m fine with another reset like Launch D2 -It’ll reduce file size -It’ll bring new content, they could take the whole game away as long as I get new content I could keep going, I’ve never seen a player base so readily accepting of being taken advantage of and so apathetic about predatory live service tactics. Let’s go over this, cosmetics have been sold since TTK. We were promised this would help pay for new content. D2 reset everything, then we got multiple premium priced DLC’s some of which were pathetic like CoO. Then they introduced season passes on top of everything else, where you now have to pay even more to get the full experience.
