I got the game because I thought D2 was going to be a new and improved D1. I didn't own D1. I played enough of it at a friend's to like it, and heard of some of the issues it had. I thought D2 would correct those issues *at launch*. It's taken 4 years for us to even begin that process and we still have a long way to go.
