Here's why & when I do it..
It's free progress, power leveling & legendary shards when I'm NOT able to play. Cooking, eating, cycling, working on music, reading, etc etc
I play a solid 4-8 hours most days, so this jus extra sauce. I only farm when I'm not physically able to play.
And I drop my light to under 400 which GUARANTEES I only match with other farmers & not impact ppl actually playing Forges.

No problem at all i do the exact same thing i dont have much time to play anymore so i have to afk farm

At least you drop your level down. every single person i've encountered at 1k light is just afking and can't even do my forges :\

How do you get your light under 750? I don’t have any armour that low, is there something special I pull from collections?

I have a full set of zero power armour from the original campaign, so I drop to about 390-400. Free event masks (as mentioned) also work well. But only afk if ya get under 750 👍

A old mask from 2018 halloween plus u can make a new character just transfer that gear over. I'm at 696 when I do it

Oh right I forgot about those, i am sorta unwilling to delete a character so if it doesn’t go low enough I probably won’t do it

Idk really any other way may try a videos tho its definitely worth it I go up boutb 8pts every time. Power grind is just not worth it anymore liken the season but the drop chances have fallen low from when I play

Yeah man for sure, I can’t believe people are actually complaining about it, like who cares. In fact, this would probably make the experience for PvP related activities better, because then at least people don’t have to worry about the light level advantage in trials or IB from all the turbo virgins with max-light fuelled by an unemployed stimulus check

In that case, you have every right to be p*seed. It takes no work to ensure low enough light. Cheesing is one thing. Impacting other pops games is quite another.

It's annoying, I'm just trying to get Izanagi and can't even do it if nobody does forges. That's the annoying part.
