Your fireteam should appear in cutscenes with you and should be part of the story. This would make it feel more like you're a Guardian as opposed to being a lone hero working by yourself and would promote a more social atmosphere for the game. Also, it would be cool if you occasionally saw other fireteams during story missions so they would open up to 2-6 player areas that involved harder challenges. This would make the adventure feel grander.
