D2 Y1 was better than present: Change My Mind
D2 Y1 was a better experience than Y2 and Y3 and had none of the issues that plague players today.
Let’s start with a few talking points about why I think so:
> Static rolls on weapons and armor, putting everyone on level playing field
> inventory management
> no game breaking bugs
> balanced pvp
You’re free to argue against the above points or introduce your own.

The only thing I preferred about d2 year 1 was the less emphasis on eververse, and a primary focused pvp. Other than that it wasn’t very good compared to what we have now.
