Now right off the bat, I think that spending a week decoding and map building, while being a great puzzle, was entirely pointless for getting a exotic that was on the roadmap a week early. Considering that most if not all the clues pointed to a sword or something else. It also goes against what bungie has done in the past, dropping a mission out of no where with a puzzle, that leads to an unknown exotic(whisper and outbreak to name a few) But the thing I’ve noticed most of all is the community reaction, 80% of the community is upset with the bastion reward,5% is indifferent, and the last 15% is defending bungie but being very toxic about it. I definitely think that bungie needs to at the very least acknowledge that they mislead the community. Now hindsight is 20/20, if the 28th comes and there is a something new the. I’ll change my mind
