Based on several posts made over the last couple of weeks on Steam forums, a particular subset of people are experiencing issues exclusively with Destiny 2. Their hardware is on the high-end of the spectrum, including RTX 2080+ cards, i7 8700k+, and 16gb RAM+. They've ruled out hardware issues, and all signs point to something up with their interaction with this game. I also believe the Ryzen 5 3600 issues with this game extend to Ryzen 7 2700+ users as well, and suggest that a bulletin be placed somewhere among forums that this issue may be resolved with BIOS updates. Similarly, I hope that Bungie may contact board vendors/manufacturers and see about getting all above issues ironed out so as to retain the large player base, collect more MTX funding, and provide us great future content.
