Either Kinetic is an energy type or Arbalest contradicts Destiny lore.
I just realized this after reading the Grimoire card [url=https://db.destinytracker.com/d1/grimoire/inventory/special-weapons/fusion-rifles]Fusion Rifles[/url]:

Wouldn't this mean that kinetic weapons could be equippable in the Energy slot?

2 RisposteWell. Arbalest is an arbalest Linear fusion rifle just is the closest thing to an arbalest weapon type the game has. Just like how sleeper(a linear fusion rifle) was a fusion rifle before linear fusion rifles existed. Or sweet business is an auto rifle.[spoiler]okay sweet business is a machine gun, you can’t change my mind. They should change the weapon type but keep the weapon the same.[/spoiler]
