I really think it's weird that you can't mod exotic weapons, making them pointless in NF: Ordeal. Also for the armor i feel it should have a bit more customizable features than regular legendarys but they actually have less. (I.E. no seasonal mood slot, or being element specific) I'm sure there could be something that could be added to give them a bit more umph.
