In an effort to try to play destiny now that shadowkeep is out I decided to link my bungie account to steam. when i did so however I would get a pop up saying it was already linked. When I got on though I was greeted by the fact that all my characters and loot was gone as well as any progress I had. when I went back to check it told me I never had any of that stuff. After another attempt at linking I kept getting an error saying my account was already migrated to something else and the only way to fix this was to make a completely separate steam account. after about an hour of linking and unlinking I relented and made the new account but if anyone has a solution on how to fix this that would be great as I don't want to swap accounts every time I want to play destiny as apposed to my other games.
