D2 Year 3 Artifacts
Is anybody else really stressed out and completely thrown off by the new artifact system coming in to Destiny 2? Why change it and make them go away season after season? Yes it makes the gameplay different throughout seasons by forcing it but for a lot of people I've spoke with it literally makes them not even worth grinding out. Just want to hear some other players thoughts, and definitely not just people defending it 100% or hating it 100%. I want some good feedback GO!

4 RisposteI like the change because it's "extra". 960 is going to be max light, so the artifact is grinding in exchange for power. I also like the fact that they are resetting every season because of the different mod sets. It forces you to think differently. Of course, nothing will matter if the artifact grinding isn't incorporated into events and missions that are fun to do. I'd be more worried about activity variance than I would be a seasonal artifact.

It’s really just additional grind each season in the guise of content... in all likelihood a restrictive ploy to pigeonhole play with minimal effect as their ‘power creep ‘ excuse and auto levelling ads will omit any real benefit.
