Destiny 2 Year 2 matchmaking: How it works and the case for why skill needs to be factored.
As we near the release of Shadowkeep, we're seeing another push to keep skill from being factored in matchmaking this fall. I hope people are willing to take time to watch this and understand how the game's matchmaking actually works and why sbmm is a good thing for the overall health of the game. Thank you.

I still think that making QP solo queue only would help immensely. Add a 2 tiered sbmm separating the bottom 20% from everyone else and we’ve got a vastly improved pvp situation. I might even be willing to go back into pvp under those circumstances. As it is now Iron Banner is the only time I go in.
