Night time in Offtopic; The Deep counterattacks
The looming threat of the deep attack is ever present in the city of Offtopic. Armed brotherhood guards and templars alike patrol the streets, gun emplacements stand ready to destroy the encroaching corruption when the battle comes. The atmosphere is tense, and it is read easily on the faces of the people as they busy about their days.
The evening was drawing to a a close and many people were still in the street near the Sheriffs office.
In an alcove a man of little importance sat, with a cardboard and marker-scrawled sign... "upvotes for the homeless. upvotes for the hungry. upvotes for the poor... Bernthal; bless you" he was bowed, grown out with hair, and pathetic to behold, barely skin and bones, still they walked on by, until a citizen dropped a single upvote in his tin can offering.
In the darkness of the night in offtopic, only a few were awake, a black pool of oil formed in an alleyway, then another in an alcove... and another... another, and another all forming in the deep dark corners of the city. from out of the first oily black pool rose the form of a Deep Gorgon, and stared across the now deserted street at the decrepit man, who stared back, and grinned with knowing, it slowly transformed into another Deep Gorgon, and the two schemed with wicked delight telepathecially. from out of the other pools rose the forms of Deep Assassins. Shadow warriors taken from an ancient battle long forgotten in a place long consumed, They stalked off into the city, on the outskirts of town, the cries of anguiished terror arise from the houses as the silent killers begin slowly silencing the sleeping citizens in their beds.
The Deep Gorgons after ordering the massacre made their way to the Sherrifs office; cloaked and stalking it's inhabitants.

1 RispondiThe enemy is in full retreat. The assassins accomplished their mission to terrorize the city. 67 civilians dead 12 missing 13 wounded, in the dead of night. The defenders of the realm have been dealt a serious blow to morale; what or who allowed the enemy to sneak in?

We must wake them up and fight!” *The portal behind him expands, and takes up the entire street. Behind the man, the portal reveals camel after camel. The man lifts his scimitar and points it forward, into the city.* “Camels! Chhaarrgggeee!!!” *1,000 camels run out of the portal, forming a stampede, blehing loudly, and searching for Deep Assassins. They split up into the streets to cover more ground.*

The rest however, barely passed for human, with a boney insectoid exterior only just fitting the anatomy to walk on two legs. "Yes it's me. No don't shoot the weird looking bug. Yes I can control two bodies." He was calling someone through a pay phone. On the other end, it seemed a radar technician for Site-OT, likely new considering the amount of disturbance in his voice. "Ok just look through on the radar for things that look dangerous. Ok, things that aren't me that look dangerous."
