Literally just made a post and people are fighting me saying that I should go play something else just because I like to do things when I want and being able to stop whenever. I have a 2 year old so I have to put the controller down quite often; sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for 10 minutes or more.
That gets in the way of other people that could have someone with nothing from having them stop playing.
I don't understand why those that disagree:
1. Don't realize that it wouldn't affect them in any way because they can still have their fireteams
2. We won't be taking spots that others with no current commitments could have. Better for everyone.

One of my friends has a child yet he's able to do raids and comp just fine. If he bas to deal with his child, we just wait.

In my experience, LFG people couldn't care about anything but winning/completing the activity and could care less about your personal life 😂 Edit: I also definitely could do the raids, but I just don't really want to. I had a team I played with in D1 but I moved to PC for D2 so we split. Haven't really talked to them much since then :/ Activities like that are not fun to me when it's just random people that will split afterwards, y'know?

I can agree with that. Just gotta find a clan with people you like. Most guys on LFG just wanna get the activity done and dip.

I have a two year old and a six year old. You need to manage your time better. Stay away from raids or NF's if the kids are still awake.

I haven't done a single raid in D2 so there you go. If you need a mic for nightfalls, that's wildly an unnecessary requirement. Also, I manage my time just fine and can play while she's awake, which has nothing to do with wanting to play solo. It's not a competition for who can play the longest while uninterrupted by your kids, dude.

Just because it's possible to play while she's awake doesn't mean I'm not stopping continuously? You can't simply just control what someone does or if a child needs a diaper change or their bottle refilled?? 😂 What's your point??

What is stopping you from playing solo?

Activities that require multiple people to have a legitimate shot at completing (without it being an outstanding feat) such as The Shattered Throne, Escalation Protocol, Blind Well, or hell, even the Farseer's Heir in the Dreaming City.

Escalation protocol is EASILY done with randoms. I completed it about a dozen times over the weekend. I ran Shattered Throne for the very first time recently using LFG on this app. You can accomplish the same.

If you can't do it BY YOURSELF, it's not solo. I've completed it with people on the app too and its dumb that I for one, have to outsource to look for people unknown players to complete in-game activities and two, [i]again,[/i] lfg =/= solo. That's still a fireteam. Edit: Give me an actual reason as to why this [b][i][u]OPTIONAL[/u][/i][/b] setting shouldn't be implemented and we'll talk. Otherwise, you're not making any form of argument and it's just wasting my time.
