It isn't about becoming better.
[spoiler]But reasonably speaking, you have a better chance taking on a good player who isn't using the Luna's Howl versus one that is.[/spoiler]
It's about making a shift in the meta: Adapting new playstyles to try and freshen up the crucible.

A shift in the Meta lol. I don’t care what Bungie does to Luna’s and NF. It’s still going to be a hand canon meta if nothing else changes. Shit it might still be a Luna’s/NF meta. They will both three shot at what? .1 seconds longer with a quicker body shot ttk without magnificent howl than pre nerf Luna’s/NF with magnificent howl. This nerf does nothing to the enhancement of enjoyment in crucible. Other things need to change. Specifically the matchmaking.

No I totally agree with you. I will continue to use my Luna's after the patch rolls out. Matchmaking could definitely use some changes
