Ghost Shells are supposed to be basically cosmetic, so it bums me out when I can't use the cool-looking shell I just got because it doesn't have Speed Demon or some other useful perk. Why not let us infuse Ghost Shells into each other to transfer perks? You'd still have to get the Ghost with the cool perk in the first place, and you could make it cost extra Bright Dust to transfer good exotic ones like Guiding Light or Treasure Hunter. It's not like they're relevant to combat, so it wouldn't unbalance anything. What's the point of a cosmetic if we can't use the one we want?
