The exotic shotgun "Tractor Cannon" has the perk repulsor force, which knocks most of the in-game enemies backward. However, just shooting the Tractor Cannon without hitting an enemy does nothing. Conservation of Momentum suggests that if the force of the impulse isn't transferred to an enemy, it should launch the player opposite to the direction of the blast. In this way, the Tractor Cannon becomes a jumping aid, granting the ability to change direction midair and jump higher or farther. Applications include the parkour in the Whisper of the Worm quest, and just fun in general. What do you think?
