Just finished watching a few of the recent gameplay vids. Anthem isn't even close to being a Destiny killer in terms of Gameplay and mechanics. Sure the people who are 'upset' with Destiny 2 and Bungie will jump ship anyway but the core gameplay isn't even remotely the same. 1) 3rd person.FPS purists (like me) who don't like 3rd person for shooters will not be going here. This is a good portion of the player base. 2) Anthem is more a direct competitor with Warframe and has more in common with it than Destiny. 3) Dialog is just as meaningless and dry as anything Dinklebot used to deliver. Never mind the Vanguard (Except for Cayde) 4) Hey look!! Bullet sponge boss battles!!! 5) Hey Look!!! The Boss has abilities to discourage you from getting too close!! Can't wait to see how many people come back OR at least acknowledge that Anthem doesn't have what it takes either. Edit Add: Once I play the open Beta myself I'll know more.
