Just a suggestion, works like the item-lock in-game but for the characters we play on, just for extra security. Some of us have had our Guardians for quite some time now, some since Destiny Year 1. For Destiny 2, there's a lot of grinding to do and if we were to somehow lose our character by someone somehow accessing our account, logging on Destiny and deleting our character, all that time and effort is gone and starting over would be a complete (sad face). Considering the fact that once the deleting process is done, there's no way of getting your character back. I know there's a simple way to avoid this which is don't share accounts. This is just a "Failsafe" mechanism to ensure the Guardians we created are in the hands of whoever made them, not in the hands of anyone else. Thinking of how it's gonna work, somewhere on bungie.net, maybe on our account page, we have the option to lock our Characters/Guardian from the website itself, preventing the option to delete the character in the game itself when logging in. Just a small feature but I hope it's worth it.
