Ikelos is still the best... So what was the point of the nerf?
Imo this is on par with the 0.04% auto rifle buff.
I balancing that effectively changes nothing.
So..... Why do it if not to just make us weaker?

2 RisposteThis is an opportunity for other weapons to appear in the meta other than ep shotty, also I think the perk is coming to random rolls so bungie doesn’t want the perk to be the only thing worth getting on a weapon.

IMO it's a buff in a way. You will never waste shots that don't have trench barrel now because you know you reapply after 3 shots. Lowers the DPS slightly but increases the damage for the whole duration (because you add multiple melees rather than one). Basically you have more control over the buff.

Gambit+Titan+exotic shoulders+ikelos= nerfed shotgun.

All I can imagine is something like 4th Horseman coming back, and... wow, that’s gonna be one hell of a DPS trip.
