TAKE BREAKTHROUGH OUT OF COMP
This doesn’t need explaining. If you can’t balance a game type then I don’t need to give reason why it shouldn’t be in a competitive game mode. The mode is hot trash to begin with, I don’t want to put my glory points on the line if it means playing this utter garbage game mode.

Yea this mode is trash and it seems like they have pushed it to the top of the list in comp.. I played 6 breakthrough games in a row yesterday and just quit after that so I would have to do another one

Edit (I cannot re edit after the mod): I didn’t expect this to get nearly as much feedback as it did, but I’m glad to see people agree with me. I think the mode would do just fine as a quick play or a weekly playlist game mode. The problem with it in comp is that even if you win the center obj, you still can lose the match by not obtaining the enemy vault. My friends and I talked about this when it originally came out, and the solution we came up with was a system where if the enemy vault isn’t captured, it goes back to the middle objective, giving the enemy team an opportunity to make a move. If the 2nd time around, nobody’s vault is taken, the original team to score the center gets the win. The one issue is that this makes matches even longer, so I think best of 3 would be a better scoring system to counteract this. Hopefully bungie sees this and decides to make some changes and remove it from the competitive playlist until more testing and reworks are done.

I can't even believe this is in comp to begin with. Got it twice back to back last night. The second game my team of all solos won two and then the other team reverse swept us. This would be fine if the game didn't last easily 25 minutes if not more. When we started losing momentum someone quit my team which is what we all should have done. I bet it makes more sense by points over time to just quit and eat the penalty. This is like salvage in D1. Poorly designed, miserable for everyone and takes way too long. As a long time bungie player (talking marathon) I wonder if you even play this crap before you put it out

THIS. I hate this game mode even more than countdown. It's just another way to remove 3 days of glory progress in one session. Sheesh. The staggered respawns, the spawn killing, ... objective modes should just be their own playlist. At least then you guys would see who actually wants to play this or countdown. Or maybe this mode was added to cut down on who could get Luna. Because it's definitely a win streak killer.

so they include it in comp playlist again.... bad decision Bungie.. clap3x like last month, it really destroyed our comp experience. Many people downvoted this game mode and they still includes it in comp... if only in weekly playlist rotation I wouldnt camplain

1 RispondiYeah, I honestly don't know how you have a mode that was removed, reworked, then instantly put into the mode for gun quests when you aren't sure it's working right yet...why would you not put it in quickplay, then move it to comp if it is doing ok? I get that it's an objective team mode that "requires communication and teamwork" but it was broken, seems to still be broken, and is in the freaking comp list for some reason...seriously, maybe it shouldn't have even come back to quickplay, maybe it's more of a crucible labs thing for now lol

I'm kinda loving it simply because it speeds up my solar kills for lunas and soon to be precision kills after rumble. I've been in only a couple and won but I can see why people hate it. Would prefer for it to be it's own special playlist like they did to that doubles playlist in d1 I forget the name. But it was about deploying something and stopping the enemy team from deploying it

i dont understand how your punished for doing well. like there is 0 reason to even capture the middle because all you have to do is let them cap it and sit back and hide/guard your point and win everytime. It encourages extremely poor play.

We had 1 on 1 but my team just didnt get any kills; just got killed. Lol I couldnt belive it xuz i was on 7 kill streak and we still lost....ugh. It is fun though. I really do like this new mode.

Not only that it's spawn kill heaven and while you have e spawn killing then your team keep s getting kicked offline. Bye lunas not fuvcking doing it lost 15 straight games like this.
