I know the chase is part of the game and sometimes you're just missing that one slot you need, but I just suffered through the worst connection pvp match I've played in a long time to get a daily power drop only to get... yet another energy weapon. Any slot other than that would have helped by at least the measly 1 power. Yet this is my third "powerful" energy drop in a row. The earlier grind trying to get to 540 I had 7 back to back energy drops, five of which were all the badlander shotgun. Why for the love of God doesn't Bungie put better protections in place against not getting the same slot as your highest power? Or at least a significantly lower chance? To Bungie: every time this continues to happen, you reduce my desire to keep trying. Making zero progress to access the content you've locked behind high power requirements doesn't feel like my time is rewarded. I don't mind the grind, but it needs to be a grind forward not spinning in circles.
