I can see the power level advantage in one event when it comes to PvP, but you guys put it in all the events that have to do with anything with PvP. I've seen some pretty dumb decisions this company has done in this game, but this tops the cake when it comes PvP. Holy Cow I wish the key devs that use to work for Bungie were still working there...
Edit: I wonder what else this company has down they won't say anything about.

What do you mean "all events"? Light level is enabled in iron banner (which it should be), is somewhat enabled in gambit (which makes sense), and then if trials of the nine still exists is might be there.

I had to quit a couple match because of clans of 3 or more I ran into. I didn't buy forsaken so that should clear things up for you.

If it does it's a bug. Or possibly something to do with armor stats you can get with the new forsaken mods/masterworks but it's highly unlikely. EDIT. go test in private matches with friends.

Sounds like lag on your end. Or somebody else’s end. Cos it’s definitely not because of power level. Unless you were actually playing iron banner

A level 5 can kill a level 50 just as easily as they can kill them. Gambit as well I believe, except you said you were in regular Crucible and don’t own Forsaken.

What? No issue being locked out of IB? Okay lol. With the power level advantage I couldn't kill anyone. Unless it was a team shot to help them out. It's a 20 level advantage against players that didn't buy forsaken if players are level 50.

Not sure what you mean by being locked out of IB. I believe anyone can play IB, although people without Forsaken will definitely find themselves at a huge disadvantage. If you meant IB in your original comment, then you should have said so. If you still believe power level was mattering in regular Crucible, then I’m afraid that’s incorrect.

First of all, it’s power level advantage, not character level advantage. I know it’s one in the same, as you can’t have a high power level if your not a lot a level 50. But still it’s important to my second point. I’d be willing to bet that pretty much every player you played against was level 50. So yeah, I’m saying lag. But all my explanations are irrelevant anyway as the fact of the matter they don’t have power level enabled in quickplay or competitive, end of story

It might say it is but it’s not. It’s obviously a visual glitch. If it was enabled these lvl 9s wouldn’t be able to invade and get kills. But they do. And no matter what level I am I’m still doing the same number of damage to people. Might wanna research what YOU say.

Maybe. But I assume it’s more of a visual glitch based on you not owning Forsaken. Mine is perfectly normal and I’ve had no issues with not being able to do damage.
