Preorder and installation question
Ok I preordered the Forsaken + Annual Pass at GameStop. I will be at school on Tuesday so I have some questions. Ok I preordered at GameStop so that means I won't be able to pre download Forsaken, the Annual Pass, and the Cayde's Exotic Stash. My time zone is eastern standard time so does that mean that at 10:00am I will be kicked to the title screen and at 10:30am I will be able to download the patch? If so then that will mean that at 1:00pm I will be able to play Forsaken since that is when the maintenance is expected to be done right? Well I will be at school and my older brother will probably make sure everything is installed so when I get home I can play. What I'm trying to say is that he won't know about the patch that he will have to install first so can someone give me like some step by step instructions for this? I know this sounds complicating but I just want to leave a step by step instruction so he can know what to do and stuff you know?

I’m not sure what console your on but if your on ps4 I can help. For the update itself all you need to do to start it is press the options button on the controller while destiny 2 is hi-lighted on the PlayStation menu and press check for update. As long as the update is live it should start the download. As for forsaken/annual pass it should be already downloaded all you need to do is enter the code GameStop gives you, no download required.
