Swords used to launch you with a swing and that was very fun, but in D2 they are nerfed to work as crap. Swords are really great to use in manuevers that require movement. This video is an example that I found of how swords used to be so good for scaling walls in the Dreadnaught. It would be nice if swords were buffed to make you fly because I never use a sword in Destiny 2 for a long time due to them being underwhelming. edit: -and kinda not worth it.
