Honestly, who cares. Do what you want as long as you don’t try to cram it down my throat I could care less what you like or don’t like. That said, it seems to have become fashionable to be non gender, bi, gender neutral etc. It’s akin to tattoo’s, smoking, ripped jeans and concert shirts when I was young.

There is clear over representation whenever romantic involvement is discussed. I don't have any issue with it. I just find it curious.

4 RisposteAfter reading this thread, I seen two extremes. People who oppose anything that they are not comfortable with outside their own perspective(IE anything that is not heterosexual), to the the complete other side. (IE: Calling anyone out that has any concerns about the story , being bigots or the most Vial "insert hyperbole here" of the earth. Both sides are complete assholes, and if people don't agree with them, they are "The Problem". Unfortunately, this goes hand and hand with politics. Basically being a person in the middle, but disagree with either the extreme "left" or the "right", are deemed the enemy. Funny thing is, majority of people here are in the middle. But since they are "silent majority" they get called out for XYZ for their opinions by the "Loud minority" Typing this, I know full well being the reasonable middle is not popular and will fall on deaf ears and my post will die out quickly. But hopefully some people who have the chance to read this and not fall for the either two extremes.

6 RisposteHere’s the thing: you’re contradicting yourself. The same goes for the YouTube personality. I totally agree about the whole point made in the video about nuance. Things are NEVER black and white. But then you/he immediately proceed to say LGBT = left agenda. In so many words you’re saying “I’m not a homophobe, so long as they don’t do ______.” Or at least that’s how it comes off...because that’s totally what you’re doing. It’s a really convoluted way of trying to absolve yourself. No different than the age old “I’m not racist, buuuuuut....” Nothing NOT racist has ever come after that starting phrase. Ana’s sexual preference is AT MOST hinted at in the comic, and non-existent in the game itself. Yet, this is where you’ve decided to make your stand. Let’s not discuss every other piece of fiction ever, reducing women to little more than a misplaced Hot Pocket as a plot device. If sexuality is subtle, it’s criticized under certain circumstances as being “irrelevant, forcing an agenda.” If it’s a large part of the story arc, it’s also criticized as “forcing an agenda.” At that point it’s not criticism, it’s just bias. The “agenda” is homosexuals exist, bro. Poor written stories also exist. Save yourself some trouble and stop confusing the two.

It is written in a "forced" manner because that's what people need: some shaking. You need to force it so people stop looking away and actually look at the matter at hand. Like, yell loud enough and people will eventually come to see what the fuzz is all about.

Whether she kissed a dude or a chick on that one page (it was only on one frame or one page) her character development was a lazy stereotype of the anti-authority hero looking for connections with her past. But you only brought up her sexuality which makes it very suspect.

So if there is a couple in destiny, why the bloody hell do you, or anyone else cares in they don't abide by your silly standard. I don't play destiny, because of the dating aspect of the game, I play to shoot aliens in the face. I don't care if the are hetro aliens, gay aliens, or bi aliens. I am an equal opportunity face shooter. and Anna Bray can be gay, straight, or ardvark for all I care. She is an animated character, and I don't date cartoons.
