Hi Bungie and only Bungie. [b]Please, please, please, please, .... repeat forever.[/b] It is ridiculous, not being able to remove the keybind of the ENTER key from opening the chat window. (Even to have unchangeable keys defined into the game, this is standard from the 90's.) As a lefty, I have all my keybinds on the right side of the keyboard! My reload key is the key right (left) next to the ENTER key. This is no problem under very relaxed conditions. But on tight situations it might happen (from time to time) I miss this key and hit ENTER instead. Do you know what this means? Clearly the chat window opens and from this point on you are not able to move your character, until you get aware of this, which need somewhat below a second. This time is enough to get killed by nearly every opponent in PVE, assuming you are carrying full renown. Beside the timed renown events it is also more than annoying. I already suggested this, but it seems you do not like to read stuff like this. (Is the forum read at all by Bungie?) Other games can do and i did change this kind of key binding such, that the chat window opens with a different key of my choice. Doing so, the ENTER key behaves as expected into this now open chat window. Hence, you see with a little effort you can help your player base out in the wild. Currently this culminates into bare frustration on my side, which is the totally wrong experience of game play! [u]Edit: To make it clear, I do not talk about opening the chat for reading!
