My fear is that now that the [armory]Doom Fang Pauldron[/armory] is getting buffed and with the new Void Super incoming with The Forsaken Expansion Bungie is going to forget about Ward of Dawn, which is pretty sad, imho. I thing it would very easy to make it a little bit better and bring back players to use it more often. The concept of the Ward of Dawn is to create a "Safe Zone". Right now this Safe Zone simply doesn't work 'cos many and many reasons. You don't want to stay inside the Bubble, you have no reasons to do it or at least the reasons are not enough. Now, the concept of the Bubble is to create a "Safe Zone", so the solution could be to make this Safe Zone more SAFE, right? For example: - [b]While you're inside the Ward of Dawn you get a Shield[/b] (it makes the idea of stay INSIDE the Ward of Dawn more desiderable, it makes it more safe and It's not going to be a problem for Nosses 'cos right now EVERY Boss in the game can stomp away the players too close to it) - [b]Inside the Ward of Dawn you can Rez other Players faster[/b] (classic scenario: everyone die, only the Sentinel is still alive, he runs on the Ghost of one of the dead, cast the Bubble and rez him, right? This little buff makes the Ward of Dawn more desiderable even if it is nothing special) - [b]Ward of Dawn generates Orbs of Light in time[/b] (like 4-5 Orbs in total during all the time the Ward of Dawn is active. If it is detroyed too fast, it doesn't generate orbs). - [b]Give a duration/HP buff to the Ward of Dawn[/b] (make the bubble harder to destroy and make it last longer, could be... something, not really a big thing, but... something...) - [b]Enemies inside the Ward of Dawn get a damage on time[/b] (just a little, like a sort of burn damage for who is so stupid to enter inside the Ward of Dawn) - [b]Inside Ward of Dawn Health Regenerations is faster and you get a Resiliance bonus[/b] (Again, trying to make to stay inside the safe are more desiderable) Ecc. I could continue but this just to give and idea of in how many ways it could be possible to buff Ward of Dawn... I hope to see a buff for this Super in the future.
