This was over a year ago. ...and he had no problems hearing us. Which is why it was clear that he knew what to do, and was a good player. We spent almost an hour trying to work out a way to get it done with him....but the inability to reliably communicate verbally on his part was just too much of an obstacle in THAT fight. Another raid situation, the group of guys I was playing with would have been easily able to work around him not being able to reliably talk. But trying to usher all six people in a raid team through the portal, and make sure that each player shot one-and-only-one Oracle was just too much to coordinate when you were basically a man-down as far as call outs are concerned. After an hour, we just had to throw in the towel. We didn't just kick him out with no explanation. We explained to him that we realized he was a good player, but that we just couldn't figure out work around to get it done. He seemed to be cool about it, but it didn't do much to make the bad aftertaste go away. But my point is that people need to realize that there are REAL participation barriers for some players....and that "oh suck it up and join a clan" isn't a real answer.
