People have been extracting oil from the earth for over 100 years. The amounts we take are massive. It is not possible for a finite ball to contain that much crude oil. The amount of oil is, however, consistent with the concept of a stationary, planar earth. If earth is Flat, and there is nothing but ground below and sky above, infinite reservoirs of oil would exist beneath the ground, created by God for man's benefit as we continue to subdue the earth through industry. Any informed person can discern the inconsistencies of the ball hypothesis. It is time to stop embracing an idea because we think it sounds smart...
