I just listened to the Destiny 1 soundtrack on Spotify...
This soundtrack brings back good memories. It makes me sad that we'll probably never have those good times again. Imagine if Destiny 3 was a giant addon to D1, maybe then we'd get that feeling back.
Nostalgia sucks, man.

To be honest, The Taken King soundtrack was the best out of all of them, with just a few songs from the Rise of Iron soundtrack following closely behind. Rise of Iron's "Elegy", "The Wretched Eye", and "Young Wolf" following behind. The Taken King's "To Be A Warlock", "The Shadow Thief" (Yes, it was w/ HoW, but is part of TTK soundtrack), "Remembrance", "The Court of Oryx", "Wolf Walker", "Dark Blade", "Bow To No One", and "Regicide" being on top. Imo, anyway.

Yeah, always having "attention contacting destiny servers" pop up, being with crappy raid teams that would rage quit or lie about knowing how to do it, coming across Chester's in trials, needing the hell out of everything sigh unbalanced weapons, riiiiight...nostalgia.... That's what you call it..... Smh

I'm actually slowly replaying D1 at the moment, and I agree that the music was killer. As far as ever getting that feeling again, of course not. Even as a 'brand new player' on my current gamer tag with no grimoire/exotics or anything unlocked, the feeling of wonder and discovery D1 used to give me is long gone. Many of us played that game for thousands of hours. There's nothing that D1, 2, or 45 could do to make this feel new while still being the same franchise. Millions of players just chasing the dragon.
