Wow. Talk about childish behavior... You'd expect more from the person who wrote the freaking lore. And the thing is, Joker wasn't even being rude. He was just asking questions as to "what goes where" and "that doesn't make sense". And frankly it seems like she's just making stuff up on the spot and trying to shut em up, like she [i]knows[/i] she's wrong but doesn't want to hear it.

I consider everything in destiny 2 and fall of Osiris to be in a alternate universe where our character never did anything important.

I'm surprised at how good the video actually was. Only someone who actually gave a s--t about Destiny would post a forty minute video about how important getting the lore right is. I'd rather have that person on my side then actively trying to remove said person from the discussion. As a new writer to the series shouldn't it be a high priority to make sure you're following a franchise's story correctly? It's not like he's obsessing over one thing. He's pointing out multiple inconsistencies in major parts of the story. It only confirms to a lot of people how little care is going into continuity and consistency within the Destiny universe.

So this is what it has become, fans vs entitled Bungie employees. Crazy how it seems like most Bungie employees care more for that pay check at the end of the week rather than the beautiful world that was constructed back in 2014. And furthermore, it is astounding that the management is a-ok with all this destruction. Who knew that the Darkness the Speaker was so worried about in Destiny 1 was being spear headed by Marge Stohl and Christine Thompson? I don't care what the Darkness has to say, the stuff in the comics is [b][i]not[/i][/b] canon in my heart. How can it be when the writers behind it clearly aren't devoted to the universe? You see this level of irreverence in the Star Wars universe right now as well. A bunch of writers wanting to tell their stories through the universe they represent rather than telling the stories of that universe. If I told a story and used the platform of feminism to tell it, yet I am not a feminist myself, you could bet money Christine Thompson would be all up and down my ass. "How dare this nobody man use my platform of feminism to tell [i]his[/i] story. How dare he say that [i]this[/i] is the reason the feminist movement exists! Typical of a no nothing sexist male! The audacity! It gets me so furious that men are allowed to get away with trying to rewrite [i]our[/i] history!" Yeah, well news flash Christy, that's how I feel when you act so irreverent towards the crafted lore you have been given the lucky opportunity to mess around with!

I feel really bad for Joseph Staten, not only did they shred his story when they first released destiny, which made him quit, but they are now going back and saying that is all folk lore.
