When it comes to loot RNG and percent boosts, i know from other games that even a couple thousand percent boost can yield nothing. Just thinking of all those Path of Exile chests ive looted with several thousand percent increase in loot quality (the mod that makes the loot more rare not quality level yes i know theres a difference) only to get a chest with a few blues in it...same issue with diablo 3 and magic find.... Its just one of those things that only pays off when its used long term...i dont think 4 hours is long enough....so yes i think its actually a placebo. Now if they had the things last a week...or it was an item that otherwise sucked but gave "magic find" it might be worth longer term farming with it.
