Okay, Bungie. I've kind of dealt with this for all of season one. But now there's new content that I would like to get my hands on. Here's the story: For 24 hours, from 9 pm last night to 9 pm tonight, I was on a grind. I did PEs, Heroic Strikes, and Heroic Adventures for 24 hours. I got 6 exotic engrams through this. Now, I don't believe that's a bad number. But, hold the knowledge that I have all of the season one exotic weapons EXCEPT for Coldheart, Legend of Acrius, and Merciless. Now, Legend of Acrius is fine. It's locked behind a quest line I haven't done yet, it doesn't bother me. And Coldheart was a pre-order exclusive, so that doesn't either. I have most of the Hunter exotic gear. From season one; 3 helmets, 2 chest pieces, 2 legs, and 2 gauntlets. And now, we have the update with all the new gear. So, can someone explain to me why all I get out of these exotic engrams are the exotics I either already have, or have gotten 4 or 5 times before? I understand you won't always get something new. But there's a point where it makes you feel like all the work you put into that grind is completely obsolete. 24 hours, and all I got were 6 exotic duplicates. Second Foetracer, fourth Sunshot, second Ahamkara's Spine, fourth Tractor Cannon, second Orpheus Rig, and my seventh Lucky Pants. I don't have the Dragon's Shadow. Or Stomp-335. Or any of the new exotics that have been released, despite opening 6 exotic engrams that I spent 24 hours getting. Please, for the love of God, at least make me feel like my hard work actually means something. Even if it means just increase how many legendary shards we get for dismantling them. Give us a way to trade it out for something else. Do something, because I'm tired of getting the same things over and over when I know there's new content in the game that I could be unlocking, or old content I have yet to unlock. Don't make my grind feel completely pointless.
