So pc players are pretty much getting robbed in other words?
I don't understand why though... are some players using a program to keep track of how smoothly the game is running and bungie is banning them for it?

Yes, but also using streaming software like OBS will get you banned. Officially Bungie only allow Shadowplay & AMD equivalent ReLive, using any else could get you banned.

Obs won't get you banned. Only game capture in obs. If you use screen or window capture its fine.

They should at least give warning, or just auto close the game like what other anti-cheat usually do unless they are 100% certain.

I not saying Bungie officially said you'd get banned, it's maybe just the way I've worded it. I agree with you, they've never mentioned it once.
