I like the idea but I don't like that arkane or however it's spelled made it. I feel like they take away certain things for the sake of making the game tougher. For example: I remember entering a room that led me to the first airlock. So it's obviously towards the beginning of the game and enemies arent super tough. So I take care of what I need to and about 30 minutes later I decide to back track to gather supplies. But instead I find an incredibly tough enemy I have no hope of killing. It made no sense. Also, it's beyond stupid to put incredibly tough enemies in the pathways of where you need to go. If I don't spec my character right I could easily end up stuck due to not having the equipment to take on these enemies. I really want to like the game but the idiotic fake difficulty is incredibly annoying. Also, no new game plus on release was an even dumber idea.
