Do you bother with nightfall? (any difficulty)
The people will speak.
I'm sure this poll will get lost in all the other posts..
Personally I feel it doesn't offer me anything. Except a half halo.
I would like to see different modifications each week rather then just the timer and one other.
A good group will take 1 to 4 trys on Prestige Mode then yeah gotta move along.
I find my self doing hard mode once as a chore and not fun. I feel pressured to complete it once at least for things I already have.
I wish it could have been implemented differently. And hope some changes come soon.

1 RispondiDone with the game until December, the Nightfalls don’t offer anything rewarding/ unique, fixed rolls means grinding for multiples of the same gun is useless unless you want one for each character, the raid was okay yet had many flaws including lag and the bullshit overused token system. What’s the point in the hard mode if it doesn’t give an increase to light level... what’s the point in light level to begin with? Merhh games just boring and has little to no replay ability value in my opinion.

Likewise to every other activity save maybe public events, the rewards are not worth the paper their original idea was written on. So a halo is cool and shows you beat something..... it goes away after a week. There has to be a arroyo n a stick of some sort (maybe leaderboards) to warrant putting so much effort into a difficult activity like that. The timer.... where to start! Well it is artificial difficulty. I personally don't mind the timer however kick to orbit was way better in terms of sheer difficulty. No one liked it back in the day because it was new, hard, and no one knew alternates. Now that the game has been around, we had hard ass year 1 NFs, Gay ass year two-three NFs, and now a timer with gay ass modifiers. Bungie, add 2+3 and get 5 and take the best of all three and make a decent activity. Remember to un-blam!- the rewards as they have literally ALWAYS been trash polluted with additional trash thrown on top of s trash RNG system.

2 RispostePrestige nightfall is a great challenge even at 305. The modifiers definitely need some work, but it’s the only challenging content in the game right now. Some people talk trash saying all you get is a halo, but the last few weeks I’ve maybe seen a handful of other players with a halo. Not sure if it means people can’t meet the challenge, or they just aren’t trying?

1 RispondiOnce a week for the powerful gear, although that's worthless at 305. Now it's mainly to make sure the engram is unlocked for my clan members. As soon as a toon hits 305, assuming you aren't hunting a specific piece of gear, they're worthless.

1 RispondiThe normal shouldn't have a timer just because we have tons of people complaining about it even tho it's more than possible to do. The prestige should have a timer because we need to keep this game challenging.

Never played d1 so don't have much comparison. I really like the time pressure, I think it adds a sense of urgency and I like finding new ways to cut down on time. But hey that is just one opinion.

I may do one, maybe two a week. In D1 I did them religiously more for fun than anything else. The timer takes any fun out of it. My charcaters are all over 300, and power level doesn't matter anyway, so I don't miss it if I don't do it...

305 on all 3 characters. I have tons of items (all guns, any armor worth a lick). So what is the point of a nightfall? Well I can help run others through which I do, same goes for the raid. But ultimately there is little to nothing to gain for me by doing it. This week however things have changed. All the NF and raid are starting to get repetitive/boring. Raid can be done in like 30-45 min and is super easy once everyone knows the concepts End game blues are setting in hard for me at this point. May have to start looking for a new game to play

Prestige nightfall is the only small bit of challenge in D2 PVE. It's all I care to play each week at this point.

I do but I'm the minority when I say that the timer doesn't bother me at all. It's just hard trying to find people to run it with. This week I had to use guided games.

Yup, My group does the prestige and normal every reset since endgame is kinda lacking atm.

1 RispondiI hate the timer. I hate the modifiers. I felt the modifiers from D1 were a perfect level of challenge. Most of all, I hate the grief that I get for finding it difficult. I get people in parties or on these forms who call people like me 'trash at pve' and 'whiny' because we're not up to their lofty standards, and expect us to enjoy losing when we can't perform. It's petty, and does no good for anyone.

Mediocre, did the first three not difficult once you figure out what parts to skip and when to hop on your sparrow , should get srl prizes, but yeah d1 was so much better, i could do valus t'aruuc alone. There at the end it had a timer, but you didnt have to worry about it if you were just being casual. As of now not really interested in doing night fall its more stressful than fun and not rewarding at all since i can get the same gear doing public events.

I don't bother with it anymore. It doesn't provide anything I can't already get from other activities (except Rat King, but I already got that quest done), the timers take away the fun for me, and I have to find a fireteam to play it which isn't worth the hassle because of the previous reasons.

4 RisposteI'm already 305, I don't need the gear, and my clan engrams make it so I don't need to play trials or the raid. What is the actual point? To get a gun that I'll dismantle and turn into the gunsmith for more guns to dismantle. The process repeats with no benefit to me.
