I fully disagree. I hate grinding, so getting a weapon I know if going to be good and not just give me some stupid edge I don't need because I got lucky, I prefer that. I prefer just getting a designed weapon. It feels better on the whole.

The problem with that dude, is they arent giving you good guns, they are giving you mediocrity.

Guns like Mannahan and Nameless Midnight both beg to differ considering how popular and widespread they are becoming.

Yeh i understand im in the minority. How can you say it hasnt lost something with no rolls? The whole point of the game has been diminished, a looter shooter with set unchanging unexciting loot, sounds great!!

Welcome to what every Borderlands player has had to deal with since Loot and Shoot became popular in the first place. It was no different in D1, as most guns even with good perksets were pretty damn terrible, cause you cant make every gun amazing in the first place. Otherwise there would be no balance or sense of rarity since that white gun at the start is just as good as that shiny exotic you picked up. Stop your complaining, or stop playing the game altogether. You can not have it both ways.

I have stopped playing, but will continue to voice my concerns on this issue, it has made this game feel generic, boring, unrewarding and has taken away any individuality or enjoyment of chasing a particular weapon. If bungie are content making mediocre games that people dont wish to invest time in then they should carry on down this path.
