If you don't believe me, i will dust of destiny 1 and run all the raids with you without using synths Heavy and special are not the only way to damage a boss or anything for that matter. If you think they are, you're kinda garbage

I've run many as well, all when they were new, and if you told us you weren't using special or heavy you'd be booted in an instant. Anyone else who says otherwise is a liar...

You don't have to, but i'm not the only one whos done it

I also never needed synths in D1 and managed to do every raid just fine. Only exception was when I occasionally had a team so bad that we'd be stuck on the same spot for over an hour. Yeah, I got kicked from plenty of random raid groups for saying I didn't bring synths, but any time that happened, I'd always succeed with the next group I joined.
