My reasoning for chicken > turkey is that there are a huge number of ways to prepare chicken to make it delicious and a very small number of ways to do the same for turkey. And the best chicken dish is far superior to the best turkey dish. Anyway, I feel like there are problems with this poll too. The cookie is a GOAT-tier dessert. There are very, very few desserts that can match the texture, flavors, and mouthfeel that the cookie can provide. Just think of your favorite cookie. Mine is a crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside dough with large, rich chocolate chunks that are solid in the center but just melted on the outside. A little hint of salt helps to not just balance, but actually bring out the sweetness. The cupcake just cannot compete. While I have previously said that anyone who chooses turkey over chicken is a communist, I am fully prepared to say anyone who chooses cupcakes over cookies is both a communist and a terrorist.
