No Loot From Planet Chest
I will go exploring on any planet. Nessus, Io, doesn't matter.
I'll open 3 chests and the 4th chest and so on won't give me any loot, not even glimmer. This has been happening since launch and still haven't found a fix.
I don't know if Bungie put a loot cap in this game to where you just get a wall when looting chests too often or what have you.
If you do or don't have this problem, please let me know. Hopefully bungie will see this and realize it's a problem too.

I am having the exact same issue. I have a ghost that lets me see alkane on titan when it's nearby and I use the scout reports etc. I've also been using the fire team medallions with my both of my brother in laws and we all get the same thing. No alkane (or 1 in 10 that is collected) Heroic public events give one blue gear and one token (when using the medallion) Strikes give the same amount of loot as usual (with strike medallion) So it feels like all my grinding I'm doing is worthless. The medallions I'm buying from eververse are useless and wasted. What is the point in having items like scout reports or medallions for extra loot, if you're not allowed to get anything from them. I've tried switching profile and character to see if that makes a difference (like how you get achievements to unlock) but nothing is helping. My main problem is, I can't actually progress any further than my 285 light level until the weekly reset appears. So now I feel like I don't wanna play until every Tuesday. I put a lot of time into destiny one.. played it all day everyday. I'm a week in to destiny 2 and I feel defeated already 😕

Happens to me all the time. Its getting to the point where I don't even want anything to do with PvE anymore

It does it to me too sometimes, hell even all the legendary engrams stop at 282 or even 276, while in videos others are to their light and more. Its not the "Powerful gear" ones, its actual legendaries that are picked up.
