With Rise of Iron Destiny received some of its first metal music, including Sepiks Redux, the Seige Engine theme and more. These fit very well into the game. It was probably for the theme of the exansion but more would be awesome. Destiny normally has a heroic sci-fi kind of mix really but Bungies previous work, Halo, has a great mix of heroic sci-fi themes and mixed in plenty of rock and some heavier stuff as well. For those of you who played Halo 2, when we were fighting our way through High Charity during the start of a civil war between the Sangheili and the Brutes we reached one room that had an all out brawl. Hunters, Elite Honor Guards and Majors, enraged Brutes all going at it with a very iconic song playing in the background. Blow me Away by Breaking Bejamin. That to me was the most epic experience I had in my history of playing Halo. Mainly because of the song. Enough rambling about the past though. I know RoI released last year and this could have been posted sooner but now is better than never. Who else would lobe to have some rock and metal added into the Destiny 2 soundtrack and beyond?
